Five monkeys were found after years in a cramped backyard cage, suffering from malnutrition, neglect, and severe inbreeding. Two were too weak to survive, but three are now safe at the center, receiving proper care, veterinary treatment, and the chance to finally live with dignity. Their rescue is a stark reminder of the damage caused by illegal captivity.

The center is expanding with five new enclosures, three already housing rescued vervets in urgent need of care. More spaces are being built for animals in rehabilitation, including growing servals and a young meerkat. A second-hand car now supports rescue missions, but a more reliable vehicle is still urgently needed.

Baby season has begun, bringing a new wave of orphaned wildlife into the center. Newborn vervets, baby servals, duikers, and other rescued animals now require intensive daily care as the team works nonstop to help them recover.
