Every Life Matters.

Your donation helps us rescue, heal, and release South Africa’s wild animals. 100 % of your contribution goes directly to animal care, food, medical supplies, and rescue operations.

Why Your Support Matters ?

Wildlife Paws operates entirely on donations and volunteer contributions. We rescue injured, orphaned, and displaced wild mammals providing food, veterinary treatment, and rehabilitation until they can safely return to nature.

Your donation keeps the centre running, ensures expert care, and gives each animal a real chance at freedom.

Where Your Donation Makes a Difference ?

Food

We buy nuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds, fruits, vegetables and cat or dog food every day to support the specific diets of animals in rehabilitation.

Baby care

Your donation helps us buy baby formula Lactogène Formula 1, nappies and baby bottles for rescued infant primates.

Tools

Rakes, brooms, brushes, feeding bowls, sponges, hammers and Leatherman pliers help us care for the sanctuary every day.

Medical care

We regularly need disinfectant, sterile gauze, cotton, sterile syringes and Protexin to treat animals safely.

Cleaning and maintaining

F10 veterinary cleaning products and dishwashing liquid are used daily to keep spaces clean and hygienic.

Maintenance and Building

We frequently need fencing wire, nails, wood and screws to repair and reinforce safe animal enclosures.

Your Impact in Action

Every donation tells a story — a rescued owl, a rehabilitated mongoose, a family of squirrels released back to the wild. Thanks to our supporters, more than 400 wild mammals have been rescued and released so far.

STORIES OF IMPACT

FAQs

Wildlife Paws is a non-profit organisation. We do not generate profit from your participation.
Caring for rescued wildlife requires constant investment: veterinary treatments, food, enclosure maintenance, enrichment materials, transport, and the general upkeep of the sanctuary.
Volunteer fees help cover these essential costs — and they also include your accommodation and meals during your stay.
Without volunteers, this project simply could not exist.

For European donors, contributions are unfortunately not tax-deductible at this time, but we are working to make this possible in the future. For South African donors, tax-deductible donations can be arranged through Section 18A. Please contact us for further details.

Once your arrival date is confirmed, we will assist you in purchasing your bus ticket with the Citybug company.  From the bus stop, a member of the Wildlife Paws team will pick you up there and drive you to the farm.
